Your phone. It’s the thing you’re going to be spending the most of the day staring into. It’s likely the most expensive item on your person right now.
The fact is, if you’re just using it to browse the web or text your pals, you might not be getting as much out of it as you could.
Now, back in 2015 we featured the apps you needed to download in 2016. It’s funny – most of those apps have probably become outdated! Let’s take a quick look back.
We looked at Stoodle and had this to say; ‘Stoodle is a great virtual workplace where people can communicate in real time. It has got a virtual whiteboard, build-in voice conferencing and messaging services which makes communication easier for it’s users. All the work you do is saved inside, so, you can come back any time to have a look. It is a must have app for students.’
Stoodle, for example, may be replaced by Basecamp or Slack which might offer a bit more than Stoodle. Things change quickly and in 2017, there’s so many applications that can transform the use of your phone.
Even if you are driving around, Uber is a fantastic app to have on your phone. The app allows you to flag down taxi cabs who can come directly to your location and payment is taken directly for your bank account. This is a really efficient way of getting around, or being carried home after a party! There’s no need for change or directions as every single thing about Uber is computerised. Perfect! You can even become a driver for them.
There’s no better media app than ShowBox, which carries an amazing range of films to your device. ShowBox is definitely the best free movies app right now and you should seriously consider it even if you’ve only a passing interest in film or TV. It’s easier than ever to watch what you want to watch!
Google Pay/Apple Pay:
Most phones are equipped with NFC capabilities which allows them to react to environmental information. In the case of the Pay apps for both bigshot phone systems, NFC is used to transform your phone into a contactless payment card. It’s easy, secure and presents an amazing option for you. It’s even better if you realise you’ve forgotten your wallet!
Do you like fitness? Do you like rewards? Bounts tracks your fitness and will challenge you to complete certain fitness tasks. If you succeed, Bounts will reward you with bespoke rewards. There’s never been a better time to get fit!
Google Drive is a mobile cloud storage solution that offers each and every single user 15 gigabytes of free web-based storage. It’s perfect for storing photos on, but if you’re at work – it is an amazing way to back up your files. Google Drive also comes with a word processor and a spreadsheet application. It can replace Microsoft Office with the press of a button.
