Hello Guys ,
People ask me lot of questions about the best screen recorder app for their Android Smartphone. If you have purchased a new android device or you have got a new update of the latest android OS lollipop then it will be a cakewalk for you to record high resolution videos. You just have to install the app and hit the screen recorder button and the recording will start along with the touches of your strokes. The recording will be stored in the MPEG-4 format.
There are many apps on the Google Play Store that offers you the facility of recording your Android screen. If you have Android v5 or later.
Many apps displayed in the Google Play Store search are paid and some are free.I tried many apps available on the Google Play store , Almost all the screen recorder has the feature of recording the onscreen touches. These apps can also record the external audio. But all the apps has one limitation that none can record the internal audio.
I used a couple of apps. The most popular which I got was Mirror. This is the app which will not only record the screen but also mirror your phone on to the laptop using the All Cast Receiver , which is a free chrome app.It has only one limitation that it add a watermark onto the video and you can’t disable it.
The another app that can record and removed the limitation of the Mirror app is the Shou.TV .It is the app which can save the video in multiple formats like the AVI , MKV etc. This app also live cast the screen onto the laptop but using this app you will face a lag which makes the app less usable.
There are some screen recorder software from Hecorat and others which allows you to record the screen in multiple resolutions including 1280 X 720 px at 30 fps. This is the app which has no ads and can record the screen for unlimited period. The app adds a icon in the notification tray when the recording is in progress.
Another app of the similar kind but with some modification is the SCR. This can add the picture in picture effect. This means that you can use your front camera and lay a live video over there. This app is free but has some paid features present inside the app.The limitation of this app is that you have to spend some bucks for removing the watermark and to increase the recording length of the app (Presently it is 3 minutes ).
I also used the Rec. which has the feature that you could turn off the screen to stop the recording. You have to spend some bucks to upgrade it for enabling the feature of showing the screen touches and also for recording the microphone audio.
My Personal choice is Hecorat Recorder which can be effectively used as a screen recorder as it has no advertisements , no watermarks and it has no time limits which is the best thing as compared to other screen recorders. If you want to use a screen recorder which can actively sync the screen of your android phone with your laptop is Mirror.
